Playing a range of both original songs and cover versions, the 2 piece Glasgow band, World O’Mind , played a 30 minute set at a great wee acoustic venue in the centre of Glasgow.
Their new song “Radio Crash” was a popular hit, with great lyrics that proved to create an upbeat atmosphere from early on in the set. Cover versions included the Kings Of Leon hit “Use Someone” and the ever popular Katy Perry song, “Teenage Dream” which enabled many of the eager crowd to sing along and interact with the performance. With both members performing a solo song within the set, including “All The Kings Horses”,  it didn’t really help with creating an overall understanding of the band as one however a great performance could be seen throughout their most recent song, “All The World To See”, which was my personal favorite, before the night ended with another original song, “Dream World”.
It was an overall good gig, more interaction with the crowd could have improved on the atmosphere at certain points within the performance although great lyrics could be heard within the variety of originals songs.
Would really like to hear more from them in the future.
